Coping

Hi. I’m new to this. Last weekend I started getting spots on my torso. As of today the only place I don’t have them is hands feet and face. I’m going to lose it. Trying creams, been give steroids and strep meds as I had strep but no symptoms.

Hello Tkaya, have you thought about diet/lifestyle changes, this can help over the long term, psoriasis is from within and not from the skin, its what we do that can make symptoms worse,I reduced my symptoms by changing my lifestyle, inflammation comes from within, so sorry to hear this , most here not what you re going through

First few days of even hearing about it as it has taken over. I’m trying baths with essential oils and epsom salt. I’m drinking water with lemon drops. Anything I’m told for diet I will try. I’m very very discouraged. And in fear of the years to come?!?

Hello Tkaye,Please think about the positive things you can do, stress will make things worse believe me, easy said than done i know but you can make positive changes for the future, the future can be better with a good mindset and a healthy psoriatic lifestyle or diet/lifestyle, I changed my lifestyle a year and a half ago now and my inflammation has improved in that time, less or no inflammation, i have psoriatic arthritis also,Gut health is important with psoriasis, put good foods in and good will come out of it , put bad foods in and bad with come out of it , it is a choice though, some changes in diet/ lifestyle is better than none but, it is a choice a choice for everyone, I wish you well Tkaye sorry about your frustrations
