Looks, coping, healthcare system

Good morning my lovely Flaymers. Found a spot on my face this morning and my eyes went big. What the hell is it doing there???? I don't get it in my face but there's always a first. Will treat it and see how quick it will disappear. ;) xxx

I think it might be because of the bad eating and drinking last week. Spending a week with an incredible man is so worth it ;)

Goodmorning, That's not so nice for you. Fortunately, you can easily apply cream on your face and there is no clothing on. Hopefully it will be gone soon!

Hope it gets under control quickly for you and Michelle!
I am very new to this problem and very concerned about how it can affect people but this group gives me hope! Hang in there!

I currently have a couple small spots on my forehead … I treat them with some non-cortisone cream, put some makeup cover-up on and out the door! I'm just hoping they don't get any larger. Let me know if you come up with any other hopeful solutions to reducing these face outbreaks.

Michelle
Michelle @michelle1021

Hi Sonia. I don't use cortisone as well nor will I be wearing make up. Keep your skin clean, eat healthy as well. I only use tar ointment but not much. Will keep you all posted :)

This coal tar helps with the flattening of the flakes, i use on and off and use moisturizer in between days, looking okay , good advice Michelle as i do too, well nothing to do with the make up part with me lol :)

As you can see in my photo here, I am devastated by the flake i found on my face, i am turning angry :) :)

Hopefully just the one spot and no more. It will be lonely and go away. Right?

Strange, i only had my work partner point out the flake on my temple, looking a bit flakey though not bad as it dried out as someone was worried about a pimple on their face , i said i got spots slight patchy bits on face here and there , looks good some days looks redder other days, its a battle but its okay as i am used to it over the winter months ,I am sure you will get on top of it Michelle :)

Lol Carol, it will definitely be lonely and fade.
John, luckily you know how to manage your P as well. We know what the triggers are and how to manage it. Yes we do cheat sometimes but we know when enough is enough and not to make a habit of it.
Thank you Julia. I'm sure the spot will be gone by next week, maybe before then. :)

Michelle
Michelle @michelle1021

Sonia, the make up might worsen your spots, try to not apply too much base as your P needs to breath too. :)

Luckily yes i do,its dosnt get out of hand Michelle, eat plenty of fresh veggies and drink filtered water or bottle water, it does help, Some changes in diet/lifestyle is better than none but,it is a choice a choice for everyone , :)

Michelle
Michelle @michelle1021

True John. I found that whenever I eat crappy food my P gets worse but yes, it's a matter of choice :)

Well you know i said about my nail in a comment here, this is inflammation because of what i was doing last week, its okay though, i go back to eating healthy and it clears up in time,Keep eating inflammatory foods things can get worse, It takes time to get inflammation down, not a 2 week thing, can take months to improve symptoms, Once inflammation has calmed down and things improve, its okay to let your hair down fairly often but not too much if one can,I know how my joints feel now compared to 2 years ago when i was just eating inflammatory foods , yes it a choice though, where does one want to be this time next year, some improvement is better than no improvement, :)
