Hello Good, I am lifer too though not serious in years with me, i do have psoriatic arthritis also,Have you thought about lifestyle or diet changes? This can reduce symptoms, It s what we eat can cause an inflammatory response, I can give you a list of potential bad foods if you like ? It is a choice and some changes in diet lifestyle may help you , Some changes in Diet/lifestyle is better than none but, it is a choice a choice for everyone, I wish you well Good

Hi I suffer really bad ,a list of bad foods would be a great help John . I've suffered years and it's got to the stage I don't where short sleeved shirts or shorts ,ant advice to reduce this would be much appreciated

Hello Dean,good foods, all veggies no potatoes unless sweet potatoes,all salads no tomatoes or peppers, turkey , lamb, chicken and venison is ok but vegan is ideal, no sauces, drink 2 litres/liters of bottled or filtered water a day not straight from the tap,limit fruits if you can because of sugar, i eat blueberries,melon and pears and bananas but not too much, i have decaf coffee no milk or sugar ,himalayan salt is good aswell as sea salt, table salt limit it if you have that,olive oil i cook with and use as dressing on salads, fresh fish is great but no shell fish, Bad foods, peppers, sugar ,sweetners,smoking ,alcohol,paprika,potatoes unless sweet potatoes,tomatoes,egg plants , citrus fruits,all sauces including dressings, all dairy including eggs, processed meats, pork and beef, old meats ,fried foods, fast foods, currys, bologneses pizzas etc ,breads, pasta,gluten and wheat, some are affected by nuts, i have unsalted mixed nuts like almonds,walnuts,hazlenuts,packet foods, cartons juices etc , tins, jars, contain sugar salt,stabilizers and additives that may trigger a response,fresh herbs is great,If one can do around 80% of this lifestyle your on a winner Dean,It will take months to see results in your skin, reduction in scales etc. less inflammation,slow elimination is key to success Dean, no rush at all, i did it in 2 months but it dosnt matter how long it takes ,Sugar was the hardest to stop as i went cold turkey, took 4 weeks to get over it , not advised to do this way ,slow elimination is best, It is a choice though and some changes in diet/lifestyle is better than none but, it is a choice a choice for everyone ,i wish you well :)

Thank you Michelle and Terminator thanks for all the food advice , feel I don't get all this from my dermatology doctor, been on ointment so long it's scared my skin and permantly red .waiting lists ate so long really appreciate everybody's input really helps x

Hello Dean, you are most welcome, We are here to help each other,Doctors and derms will not mention diet/lifestyle changes as they deal with symptoms and not route causes of problems that can make things worse . we can make psoriasis worse to ourselves by eating badly ,We are all different i know, The biggest difference i noticed is my joints and i do have less less scale build up which can be very uncomfortable i know if bad ,,Well striving for 80% of the lifestyle diet is good in time and see how you are with skin, you got all the time you need to make changes but, i know its a choice , I have had many people get back to me and say after 4 months that they could see a difference in their skin just by making changes,, I take supplements also,calcium, b12,omega 3 ,sometimes more,i am okay in good health Thank you Dean :)
