I boil my water from filtered water for everything, In the south of the UK the water is terrible, full of chemicals that are an irritant inside and out,I remember as a child living in very hard water areas and my skin would suffer badly, These days i use a shower filter to reduce harmful chlorine etc getting to my skin thats in the water which can dry the skin out,I drink as much filtered water in the day also around 2 liters/litres, All these things help,I dont itch, scratch so, i am doing the right things , I wish you all well :)

2 litre/liters of bottled/ filtered water a day is enough for good health no more :)

I agree, water is great! I’m lucky and have a well with amazing water but if not I would avoid bottled water. Not only does it contribute to the environmental crisis but I’ve been reading about plastic particles in bottled water. Best to do what John is doing and either filter the water, or if necessary, boil and filter and then fill up a non plastic container for the day

Always the funny guy john, but definitely true. One other thing water is great for is weight loss. Extra weight is a thing that will make our psoriasis worse too. Not everyone but I know this is true for me. Sugar is a definite commonality that I have noticed as well. Exercise is key too. One great thing about exercise is it's wonderful for our mind, body and soul. Music is also a key thing I use to destress if stress pops up. Get focused on the moment and discard all the noise of nonsense. That, of course, is my way of staying healed.

Thank you Susan and Rita,Well Susan, you know exercise isnt good for me unless its walking ,mind does well without it though thats a matter of opinion? :) but i get that yes :) Music is great for me, yes i am seeing some weight drop off after last week away after my holiday,I given up the booze and bad foods for awhile, no adventures until i go to world dart :) Thank you :)
08 Dec 15:33
Well I drink lots of water ,but not the plastic bottles,my choice
08 Dec 15:36
Agree John & like Rita above mentioned, the water you drink is equally important...Not sure of the quality of water where you live but here in the good Ol' USA...most water supplies also contain Fluoride :(
08 Dec 16:45
Yep and just taste of chemicals and lyme here in south uk, like poison, its only supposed to be used for washing sanitation etc :)
08 Dec 16:55
I lost half a stone in a week since getting back from holiday so i am pleased, aiming to get to 11 stone as i was last year, i am near 11 and a half stone now, I dont drink at xmas or new year, i still eat healthy over this period and dont stuff on cakes and sweets and all other crap, I didnt eat any junk at all last xmas,Inflammatory foods do not attract me any more, now and again is ok,a little bad is actually good for you too much bad is really bad for you unless on holiday then i smash it and go back to whats important ,I go to work all over xmas and dont get tempted and dont worry :)

Hopefully you can eliminate the fluoride in your water Lynn by filtering it. Why do they continue adding fluoride to municipal water?!
09 Dec 15:13
Apparently Rita fluoride is added to water to help prevent tooth decay. Hmmm. It's something that I have never thought was right, being in dentistry my whole life. You can get fluoride naturally. Just another way to control the masses in my opinion. Seems the only way to get water without added fluoride is to buy the water. Again, it seemed really stupid when I was a kid to buy water. Yet, now it's all most people drink. Pretty soon we'll be buying air. LOL. Actually you can buy air. Goodness. :)
John I only walk for exercise BTW. I have a gym in my building now and don't use it. Just time and I love walking anyway. Get's me and my guy outside together to enjoy nature.
09 Dec 19:15
Welcome back Alberto, been a while :) :)
09 Dec 22:26
Yes walking is great Susan, i have tennis elbow in one arm and the the other i have a dodgy shoulder that can give a lot of jip, that was from my batman begins style press ups, never again, I use a vibro for my six pack work lol, Iam fit so all is good, gym would wreck me to be honest,I used to go to the gym years ago at that time my arthritis started ,i had to give it up :)
10 Dec 07:03
Yes I agree John, Aqua Man ....I live in SE and the tap water is yuk , I also only drink bottled water :)
10 Dec 08:11
Yes true John. Water is good for us. Luckily I live in South Africa and our water is second best in the world so I don't need to drink bottled water.
10 Dec 08:38
Because of the drought we had in Cape Town we only use bought filtered water from Oasis.
10 Dec 09:59
Yes true Bev. So sad. You had drought. We have loadshedding now. lol. Terrible. But, it's nothing compared to having not enough water. How is it going in CT?
10 Dec 10:37
We also have been having load shedding if you get ESKOM power they have been on stage 2 but we get ours from CT City power so we have had Stage 1 sometimes. Hoping it's at a end now
10 Dec 11:20
I wish it will get to an end this side. I haven't had any where I live (yet) but the towns are a mess.
10 Dec 19:10
I only drink filtered water.
11 Dec 18:16
I drink water every day 😊 I just pass mine through some good coffee beans but plastic is a problem just avoid it at all cost don't eat or drink from it and don't microwave it...
