Looks, coping, treatment

Living in South Africa is a blessing as we have the most wonderful weather throughout the year but this heat is killing me and my P is looking very red.

My P was fading and looked beautiful but with this heat, its looking more red and I guess combined with the festive food I had. I am covered in mosquito bites. They never used to bite me but could be the sugar in my blood which attracts them? Hope it doesn't turn into Psoriasis. Has anybody's mozzie bites turned into P? Its not itching though...

Sorry to hear that!

My friends and family say it's becoming unbearable in Joburg. My one friend who has MS is badly affected by the heat too

Bev, we are now preparing for thunderstorms. I'm not sure if I should be happy or not. Lol. At least it won't be so hot anymore.
Yes John, with this heat a lot of people got heatstroke. Having a pool doesn't help.
Isobel and Jen, I pity you as that is very hot. I saw on work news this morning its 42 degrees with your heatwave. Its madness. How do you breath? I hope you get some rain soon to cool down :)

Yes rain would be good although it will be very muggy again after.
And bloody cyclones hanging around. Everyone is on edge. Crazy weather all over isn't it.
Michelle I meant to ask you are you sure you have mozzie bites? Seeing they are not itchy. I came up with welts all over beginning of last week. Not itchy but strange. My back and legs are covered with them but slowly fading.

Hi Jen, no they are mozzie bites. Mine never gets itchy or swollen like I used to get. Just small red dots. they're also fading now so I'm happy. But thank you. I'm glad yours are fading too and hope it will be gone soon :)

Michelle you can send some of that heat over here--its been raining here since last night and continue for another few days.
Everyone I talked to today were either sleeping or Watching T.V. in their pyjamas--dark outside like middle of the night. Temperature is around 1 degrees or -1)) Cold and damp. My righr hand is very itchy and flaky and a little on my left hand--trying to keep it down BUT--seems to want to stay--but it comes and goes.--my legs are clear now. Happy New Year to you.
