How do you feel when you find new spots on your body? Panic? Angry? Disappointed? or?
I keep track of my spots and when I see one in an area where I've never had before, I panic.

Hello Michelle, disappointed but not angry, I usually know that some will get bigger and i get a flashback from last winter thinking , ooooh its back ,Panicking , getting angry wont solve anything ,
I am expecting this to get worse in winter, its okay, it could be worse for me , I just hope i never go back to 35 years ago and before as if that happened, i dont know what to think? but i stay positive as i can and ride it out until the sun comes :) Thank you :)

I Panic too because I am concerned it is spreading and what that could mean, but I read about the changes I can make to help myself and that calms me.

True, Doing positive things will give a person a good frame of mind, changing diet/lifestyle habits will make one healthier inside too,I just think okay, I got this for another 5 or months and it could get worse, but try think ahead to when it gets warmer, i am not a sun worshiper by no means but as soon as it gets warm the fading happens in the skin, ooooh i wish my life away a lot, yikes :)

I used to get both angry and anxious - now I try just to treat them no more “specially” than my existing spots - I find acknowledging that new outbreaks are part of the condition helps me remain somewhat mentally more stable

Frustrated, especially if it's somewhere that shows.

Find new spots all the time. At the moment at least 50% of my torso is covered with psoriasis

With all this crap eating during the festive season AND the Vodka I had (I usually only drink wine) I got two extra spots. One on thigh and one below the knee. I'm not panicking now as I know it will be gone in few days. Back to detoxing for me.
Golly, it does help to listen to everyone's stories. We then realize that we are not alone with this right?

I agree Michelle, detoxing for me as well. Feet started flaking with all the crap I ate and drank with the silly season.
Yes it does help with everyone's stories. Thanks to every one.

Well Lyns, we just need to stay focus on what we eat. Good luck to us all and our detoxing. I'm going to miss my roast potatoes.
