I never (or try to not) pick the scales as it can become worse. As soon as I see a new spot/s I only concentrate on them by keeping them moisturized and eating extremely healthy. I also go into a ritual by washing my hair for a whole week with my tar shampoo to prevent a flare on my head. I usually only wash my hair with tar shampoo once a week. When I get a flare on my head, I know my body will flare up which is why I'm extra careful with my scalp. I also drink turmeric twice a day (morning/night) to get rid of the inflammation.

I meditate a lot which keeps my stress levels at bay.
