Found out I have Severe L4S5 arthritis in my back. On top of that I'm taking our Billion dollar company to court for bullying... Yikes. Sure a bit of stress but I'm sure grateful that I do my due diligence, take notes, have a God to give it too.

Good luck with the giant killing, as you say much stress so make sure you take time to look after yourself.

John my back is not from medication. I'm not much into meds anymore. However, I was given Lyrica to see what happened. OMG! One dose and I was hooped the next day. Threw them away. I'm better off with stretching and walking.

Thanks Lindakay... If I didn't trust God I'd be in big trouble and very stressed. However, this isn't super stressful, mostly because I have values that clearly know a bully when I see one. Bullying is against the law here and is taken very seriously. The company HR and Workesafe will do the fighting. I get to sit back and do my due diligence finding another job.

Chrisb yes, lots of stress, but I have great tools to not be stressed. Like I said, it's not my battle and I am responsible for what I CHOOSE to take on. I hold onto the fact that my values are good. Probably nothing will change while we are here but my intention I guess is to help the next person after us. Kinda more my style...

Wishing you the best of luck with your court case Susan. Stay strong. Sorry about your back. Is there anything you can do other than stretching and walking that can help?

Hi Susan..Nice to hear from you.. Sorry about your problem--any court stuff is stressful..Im getting over the flu?? I think?
after 4 days am still having the runs today---didn`t eat for two days--no appetite,,but Friday I finally made a full dinner---but it went through me almost like water. Our hospitals are full of flu patients and some have been there for a week in the hallway---One of the nurses who worked there was in hallway for over a week and her daughter went to complain about it because she worked there but they said,,sorry there are no beds I have terrible Psoriases in my nose--its all plugged up with "P" and bleeds everytime I blow my nose.. Im applying olive & ginger oil--but it isen`t helping much plus I have an injury to my left shoulder--started last Christmas and slowly got worse--Im going for accupunture --only twice a week so its very slow healing but my friend ordered DMSO on-line and we slit it--its good oil for pain but it has some side effects too--the kidneys but its small.. My friend also has back pain from arthritis. I hope you get some good money for they BS.. I got kidded off facebook yesterday for giving my opinion about a subject they were talking about (A Winnipeg sight)--this community sight said,,I made a racial slure and she was hoping that someone would take me off facebook--so another woman said,,I only gave my opinion and didn``t use any racial slures and you want to shut her up? Then she said,,you guys are blowing this thing out of proportion. Sure enough they said,,I was being taken off for 3 -days which would be Tuesday..So Im not sure if you will get this message. Let me know how its going with your court etc too!

Hi Susan, I'm so sorry to hear about the arthritis in your back. I hope it's not too painful? Oh I know about bullying in the workplace. Had a Director bullying and verbally abusing me for weeks and when I threw my toys out of the cot it stopped. None of us have to go through it. Good luck with the court case and you are right, we choose what we want to take on. You're a strong wonderful lady Susan and I know you will get through this. Lots of hugs to you xxx

Sorry to hear about your back Susan and all the work stress. Maybe ginger capsules could help with inflammation. If you’re being bullied at work, and you have documented evidence, why do YOU have to change employment?! Good luck with everything.

HI Susan.. sorry about all that you going through...

Susan
Susan @godcares

Good morning y'all... Thanks for your well wishes. I have this "thing" that I can't explain. I am not so stressed as I am pissed off. LOL. However that passes quickly, thank God. NOBODY deserves to be bullied ever. Here in Canada it's against the law so Worksafe and our Human Resources office are taking this very seriously. My husband is continuing to work but only for a short time till we have another job. The thing is that inside of me I am very solid. I work on ethics and we have been told to literally do things that are unethical. Goes totally against my core values so my gut tells me I just can't do things. It's all about cutting costs and if our team cuts costs then their is a bigger bonus. This is big business and we don't care about the bonus. In the end we will have to answer to God so we just go one day at a time. I trust that God has another job and home just waiting for us. I'm super thankful that I have been taking notes too! We aren't thrilled about having to move but we are excited about our new life adventure.

As far as my back goes I now know what's going on so I do my stretches and walking alot. I'm in charge of my health and what I choose to put into my body. Chose to take Lyrica just one night. NEVER again! I was sooooo out of it the next day and I hate drugs. The pain comes and goes and I keep thinking that many have it waaaay worse. This is just part of my journey I guess. My attitude and mental health are my priority and with walking, meditation, embracing all this crazy stuff of pain in the body, bullying, can only make me stronger. We are happy, have food on the table, roof over our head, so really all our needs are met. I have been to hell and back on this planet so this is just another thing for growth, strength and trust in God. I'm back at writing my book and loving it! Interestingly enough we have not hung 1 picture in almost 4 months in our apartment. I think deep down we knew we would not be here long so that's one less thing to pack! LOL. As far as transferring us to make this problem go away, that will not happen. My kids are not far away and the only place to transfer us is all the way across Canada to Toronto. Yeah, right! LOL Nope. We love it here in the Okanagan Area! Anyway, all's good and I will definitely keep you all posted. Blessings to you and anyone who is sick take care of yourself.

I got a bulging disc in cervical spine. The pain has flared my PsA terribly. Plus I went off my strict diet. Now rheumatologist wants me to delay surgery on neck b/c he thinks I have arthritis in my spine. Suddenly knees, elbows, hips all got very bad for first time. Spine hurts in lumbar and thoracic areas too. I'm doing physical therapy for neck. Sleep in recliner b/c of neck can't lie flat. Feel like I'm over 100 years old some mornings. I pray we both can get well and God will redeem this pain somehow!

Susan
Susan @godcares

That's too bad Marlene. I also was told surgery and that horrible Lyrica. I've got a VERY high pain thresh hold and I think I'm bull headed. LOL. Might not be able to reverse the damage but I sure as heck will do everything I can possibly do before I get cut into. We all need to do what's best for us though. My issue is that my nerves now get pinch every once in a while from just a slight movement and then I can't move at all! I'm going to do chiropractics and all my core exercises too. Luckily my diet is good but when I'm out of commission I tend to think of potato chips... LOL No... I don't indulge but I desire to eat a whole bag of ripple chips with dip too! YIKES...

Sorry here this Julie, though Rhumatoid arthritis can be confused with psoriatic arthritis,i hear this a lot,If one has psoriasis, more than likely psoriatic arthritis as they have the same symptoms , Diet /lifestyle has helped my joints by a long way, no one would know i have it, I wish you well

john,Hulk @chewbacca

Michelle
Michelle @michelle1021

I agree John. Diet does help definitely. all the food that I eat is anti inflammatory food. Since ive been drinking my turmeric my PsA is gone. Well, I don't get pain in my thumbs unless I eat or drink the wrong food for a couple of days. I have added a herb called 'devil's claw' to my daily vit intake as well. It helps to alleviate pain caused by Arthritis and inflammation. Excellent for PsA as well. It's Indigenous to South Africa but I'm sure you can buy it everywhere

 john,Hulk
john,Hulk @chewbacca
