Hi John. Just dropped in, I hope you are well.
I have been very unwell for three months and was advised to use a humidifier. When I did a bit of research it turns out they are good for dry skin conditions. I think it's helped me. I have added Lavender oil which is very relaxing and puts me into a deeper sleep. It also has multi coloured lights for night use. Every little helps as they say.

Hi Kim. Great to see you back :) Sorry you've been ill and I hope you're better now? I have heard that a humidifier does help for P. I know what the one looks like you're using. I love the multi-color one. It gives a relaxing atmosphere indeed. I'm glad it works for you. I have never tried it before but the Previous boss I had used one for his sinuses and he swears by it. I loved the colors and the smell. ;) I think I should get one to get a good nights rest. Good luck and I wish you well :)

Hi Michelle. I hope you are well.
Thank you for your kind words.
Yes, that's the one I have. I wouldn't be without it now. I find it really helps.
12 Feb 18:56
I'm glad to hear that your skin is good. Long may it last.
I have no idea why but my legs cleared, and I mean completely cleared. I sent my son photos of them and he was amazed. At the moment I have one dry elbow, some spots on my hands and now 4 spots over both legs. That's it!
I've tried to work out what's going on, it's astounding. Of course now I'm worrying it will come back with a vengence!! You can't win.

Thank you :) ,Sounds great Kim, Glad things have improved and in winter too:) I do hope that this will stay clear for you and think of now and not later, I try not to think like that though spring is around the corner and i know my skin will get better ,I have let my hair a down a little now, no difference with skin but not too much letting it down, Just a few more gluten free biscuits, I did try some standard gluten filled biscuits and no difference at all :) , I do eat healthy daily though,Think how good things are now like i am ,make the most of it , no cracking /soreness,great:), I am pleased for you Kim ..Thank you :)

I'm well thank you Kim. Autumn is around the corner so my P is flaring up on my elbows. It comes and goes but nothing to worry about. The tar mix is keeping it at bay.
That is amazing about your skin Kim and I'm so happy for you. Ah the feeling deep inside when you see your skin clears up. So thankful and happy. like John said, think of now and not later, enjoy what you have and stay positive. Mine went into remission for years Kim and I just enjoyed life. I'm very happy for you :)
John, your's can only get better now too. Your winter is almost over so no stress for you. Just keep on eating like you do, keep your P covered from the cold and stay healthy. :)

Thank you Michelle thats my plan thank you, Yes i stopped my herbal cream 2 days ago and see its still looking good :), No dryness after shower or feeling like its going to crack, a lot has gone from me or faded within a week of this treatment , amazing, ITS A KINDA MAGIC :) Thank you , Glad. so glad for you Kim :) , Hopefully your skin will be good too Michelle and when you get this cream you ordered ,, its amazing , just for a week though and then off as i did and see how things go :)
13 Feb 08:03
Kim: I was wondering, maybe you have done something to make your skin clear up? No stress maybe? Or beginning of season change? Anyhow, its wonderful and I what I read from your post, you sound very happy. I'm glad. :)
haha John. yes It's a kinda magic indeed. That is really great and I can imagine how happy you are about it. You have been struggling getting your toxin patch gone and look now, fading and comfortable. I'm getting my cream in a few weeks as it takes 34 days to be delivered. I'm sure my ankles will look great after I've used it but also, I won't be using it for more than a week. I had terrible experience with steroid creams.
13 Feb 08:08
Yes i agree Michelle,a week is enough then see, Hopefully i wont go back to it but, who knows ? :)
13 Feb 09:19
We can never say never. When we get fed up, we go back to what we know helps. It only depends on how wise we are going to use it. I said I will never use steroids again and look now? I will be using it soon. It's one of those things.

Hi Michelle and John. I am really dumbfounded about my skin. I have started to use the humidifier but also I was out of work for a month off sick so my stress levels were down. On the other hand I was really worried about my illness which was stressful too. I have relaxed my eating slightly and it is now 18 months since I am clear of HRT. It is also two years since I ended a very toxic relationship and had a good look at all the other relationships in my life. Its possible it's the results of long term actions. I've noticed my hands are getting a bit iffy now I've returned to work so I will have to see what happens. I'm having lots of candlelight baths to relax and I think that helps too. As we all know, it's ever changing so I'm tiring to take every day as it comes.
15 Feb 05:53
I understand yes, being at home with less stress can help your P. Mine got better when I was at home for 5 months. I'm very glad your'e clear of HRT and I can imagine how happy your must be. The toxic relationship is not good for anyone and the sooner one realize it the better. Just a pity that sometimes we don't see it straight away and even if we do, we try to overlook it because of 'love'. You will be okay Kim, concentrate on your candlelight baths and relax. Don't let any negative thoughts overcome what you have accomplish. You're a strong lady. :)
15 Feb 06:44
Thank you Kim,I am pleased for you though, yes you been through a lot i know, Sounds like things are moving forward for you in a great way :) , A lot of us have been through toxic relationships in the past,i been there too many years ago and moved away from it for my sanity ,You sound so positive and thats great Kim , Like as Michelle has said, Your a strong lady :)

I think I need that too! a humidifier--I have bad nose infection--I had emergency doctors appointment to day--can hardly wait to take the prescription--I think its "P" but the doctor didn`t say he took a swab and gave me a prescription--but told me if its not helping then I need to come back..Its not just my nose it has spread to my face--upper lip and check areas=--very itchy and painful flaky--gritty skin--Can hardly brush my teeth.

A warm air humidifier would work best.
21 Feb 14:43
Thanks all. I'm also taking a vitamin combo daily of vitamins D3, B12, zinc, Vitamin C and folic acid. I'm sure it's helping.
