John's latest post has me wondering. He mentioned scarring. Anyone else have scars or maybe left overmarks. They told me at the UV clinic that some of the discolouration might never go away.

Hello James, Scars seem to stay for a long while these days with me ,never used too, I think eventually my skin would go clear of scarring as long as the flakes dont come back, :)

It's somewhat like that, just like my bald head when I scrape or cut my head once it heals the pigment is lighter than the surrounding area. I have about 5 or 6 different shades up there:) Dermatologist says nothing I can do about it.

My hubby has done scarring too

The UV is working great but already my body looks like one of those maps in a school geography book, you remember the ones that showed different altitudes as different shades of brown.

I have extremely faint discoloration all over my calves and elbows. It’s been about 3 years since My skin has been completely cleared of plaques ☺️.

I'm terribly scarred from the last flare up. Getting worse.
New gp thinks it's not p. Most likely allergy to some creams or moisturisers.
Getting skin biopsies done today. So tired of it all.

Lemon 🍋 will fix that up in a jiffy..

@Jen, try using all natural creams. Extra virgin coconut extract helps, grape seed oil, jojoba oils? It can’t hurt!

Hi James. I have no scars to show but maybe it's because I've been in the sun a lot or maybe its because I only use my coal tar mixture? Whenever my P disappears and it leaves a white mark, I just go sit in the sun for 2-3 days and the white turns skin color.

The sun, yes I've heard about it. Of course I don't believe it's real, the Loch Ness Monster and I were chatting about it just the other day.

I found a cream called NS21. Its natural and the 21 means “healed”in 21 days. It is specifically made by a psoriasis sufferer for skin conditions. Reviews I have read say it heals skin and restores. I find it good. You would need to order it online as it is Australian made. Google it.

Hi Julie. For how long have you been using this cream? Is it a steroid? I will google it thank you. :)
04 Mar 05:20
I just saw it's a cortisone free cream. Reviews sounds good too :)
04 Mar 21:10
Yes, it’s a natural cream. I am finding it good. I still have the need to scratch sometimes, but the skin is healing well. I have been using it for a couple of months as I have had a few flare ups so go back to it. I do use the cortisone cream on an occasion as well, but rarely.
05 Mar 05:49
Well that sounds great Julie and I'm glad your skin is improving. Sounds like a wonderful cream to me. :) Yes cortisone is for the quick fix (I'll be using some soon too) and we can't use it on a permanent basis unfortunately. Well done on the improvement of your skin Julie. I'm happy for you :)

James am scarred ,arms lovely brown and while but still fading ,body still regressing ,light pink ,Iike fairy floss, but best thing is no flakes.I was told scarring will go eventually so hoping yours does too.

I'd like to think so too but as long as it's not flaky, bleeding, raw and painful, I can cope. At my age I'm not supposed to look perfect anyways.
