I've been persuaded to move to a whole food plant based diet (slightly different from a vegan diet I've been told). Anyways, I was also advised to watch a Netflix show called What the Health. I in turn, pass that advice to you.
Please don't include specific medical product brand names or external links.

James it sure can't hurt, that's for sure. I haven't seen that one on Netflix. Sometimes in Canada we don't have the same Netflix as other people, but I'll check it out if I get the chance. I'm not much of a fan of diet, as you know. Lifestyle is a better word. Has to be sustainable or we won't do it. I'm not just plant based and do eat meat. So far so good. Hope it helps you.

Yes, i know of this James, You wouldnt want eat anything you watch that, I rather not, Though i eat a healthy with plenty of veggies and salads :), A lot of plant based foods will make you feel better + fart a lot too :),I wouldnt want be stuck in a room all day with lots of people thats for sure Its good :)

I’ve really gone off meat. I only eat fish and veggies it helps reduce the itching. I can’t drink because I go purple. I now find chocolate slimy.
My daughter is vegan amazing skin.
Avoid soya based. Lots of info that says it is not a healthy substitute.

At last, someone else who feels the same way about chocolate. My family have always teased me for not eating it cause yes, it's slimey. Regarding soya, that's off my list as it's now a GMO.

I've cut down animal product consumption a lot, and I can really feel the difference when I eat meat or dairy. So many substitutions it's really unnecessary, and I have more energy and a lighter feeling all around. Still have to avoid processed food but my skin feels so much better now minimal flare ups.

Tried the plant based diet before and it didn't last long. Not because that it is not effective but because I went crazy for a week of not eating any meat. Lol my mom surrendered and gave my lots of beef after that. 😂

We have cut down on red meat. We have it twice a week now instead of 5. We are going to introduce 2 nights vegetarian next month

I eat my veggies every night with fish or chicken mostly. Once a week I eat red meat. Since eating fish so much I saw improvement in my P. I don't itch and the flakes are gone. For some reason my PsA is rebelling. Especially in the left wrist and thumb. I don't eat chocolates (maybe once a month) and I don't eat sweets. I had macaroni & cheese last night and it was so delicious. worth the pain afterwards :) A change is always good but not for arthritis.

James...this is the best advise you could ever have received. After watching WHAT THE HEALTH in Nov 2017 I changed to a vegetarian diet. My P improved drastically...

So far it's going okay. I'm definately thinking meal prep though. I work shifts and my rota changes weekly so planning x amount of breakfasts, lunches, main meals plus snacks is vital. In all though, I'm really enjoying new flavour combinations.

Amazing Documentary with such great results. Good for you taking this on James. I stopped eating meat 5 weeks ago & my skin is so calm, it is great! Do you have a Pinterest account? I find it incredibly helpful finding food ideas. I think I would be lost without it 😊

I do indeed have Pinterest, I've already made a couple of things I found on there. Buddha bowls are great for taking as work lunches. I finished my course of UV today and as of now I'm 99.9% clear. I don't kid myself, I know it's not a cure, but I'm hoping my change in diet will help both my P and my IBS. It's not all fun and games, one thing it's also done is given me weapons grade farts, I could clear a room in under 10 seconds, but that will either clear up or I'll come to enjoy it.

James weapon grade farts! OMGoodness! That's hilarious! My hubby just cut out milk. Not sure if you drink it or not. He was addicted to it but he had pretty bad gas and usually in the middle of the night. What a treat! LOL. He chose, on his own, to try not drink milk at all. The results? No gas at all! We both eat tons of vegetables, any kind, cooked or raw everyday. Plus protein. Dairy, as you know, isn't something I have and now he is following along.

I've cut out all meat, fish and dairy and so far I'm enjoying things, although cooking for my service users is less than fun right now.
