Hi guys! My doctor told me that arthritis psoriasic could appear 9 or 10 years after the guttata P or in drops. What do you know about this?

Hello Victoria,No it may not appear with you, Not all people with psoriasis get the arthritis,I was born with psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis didnt come until 33 years later ,Not everyone gets it, Theres a possibiltie yes but i wouldnt think about it unless it happens, I think alcohol triggered mine but i dont know as i was drinking a lot for a long time , It was very painful in the beginning,I made mine better with diet/lifestyle changes, ,prevention is better than cure if possible but there is no cure,Healthy lifestyle will keep symptoms under control for a lot of people, I wish you well :)

I’ve had psoriasis for over 40 years and thought at one time I had arthritis but it turns out it’s the cumulative affect of more than a few motorbike crashes. I agree with a lot of what John has said too. Healthy diet and keeping stress levels down pay big dividends.

Sick of the blood tests though, first week without pain for a long time, so am socialising again, no cure for p or ostio or psa, Dr's yet to make up their minds, got both, or 2 or all, don't care, as no pain this week so I live and love

Mine appeared simultaneously but others don’t get both . Everybody is different .

Sadly either condition can pop up at anytime and the inflammation resulting from either or both can affect many organs, Heart eyes brain liver pancreas can all be affected which is why the inflammation needs to be taken very seriously. Many people do not realize this but sadly many studies have led to this conclusion.

Took a gp, a dermatologist
2 MRIs, not to mention blood tests
Rhuemologist gave me the physical he said straight away psa even before results were back, it was the fat toes that was the clincher, that's how Psa is diagnosed here

Sorry Rosey about the Psa and all you have been through with tests etc ,I hope something can be done to reduce your symptoms, Only thing that had subsided mine is watching what i eat but i have let my hair down a bit too often lately, my thumb nail looks a bit dodgy so i know psa is trying to make a come back but slowly getting back to well trying be sensible , trying anyway :)

Actually after all the tests the bloody fatigue, was bad, I'll be OK, get on top and do it all again, obviously can't go back to what I was doing, it's different now, just hoping it's fixable, haha, it is life changing this psa though grrr never thought I'd get it as was bad enough having severe psrioasis, oh well that's the way it is

Sorry Rosey i really am, I have seen severe cases and geeeze, its hard work i am sure , I know when i was a child, the hell p gave me so i do understand, Most of us have had bad P at some point, I was so relieved to get rid of that toxin portal patch though i had to use steroids on it but its never come back there, it was big,I could say try be positive but its hard i know with severe psoriasis when in pain, itch scratch and all that, Sorry, Wish this could just disappear from all of us, I met a flaker guy yesterday who came to do electric job where i work and i noticed his flakes and said, ooooh i am a flaker too, we were showing each others flakes and talking about stuff we been through in life , mine was worse than his though i am a mild case with it compared to a lot here i am sure Hopefully better weather in spring for you will help now , Best wishes Rosey
