...feeling alone Honey @honey

Looks, relationships, strangers

What people see: Your red patches of scaly skin.
What they don't see: Your burning, bleeding, itching, and dry skin.
Your swollen fingers and toes.
And your morning stiffness, struggles and tiredness.

i work in a nursing home as a maintenace person, there is a lady who is around 80 odd yrs of age,she has psoriasis quite bad. i can see in her face the burden of psoriasis, with her large jar of e45 cream on a table in front of her to moisturise throughout the day whilst she sits and watches everyone quietly in the large lounge, its quite unusual as we never had a person there with psoriasis accept myself in 5 and a half years.I walk in quite often to the lounge, have a chat and i sometimes make people laugh now and again and they make me laugh and in 3 weeks this lady has been there as a resident and i have never seen her laugh just straight faced ,i managed to make her laugh today 1st time she has laughed in 3 weeks :) . its good to have some laughs now and again :)

funny sherry, she seems to ask for me a lot, maybe being a fellow flaker, I put her cardigan on today though I shouldn't as she forgot it and I went to her room to get it,people don't have the time, luckily , I do but, I am not a carer so, I am limited what help I can give, poor woman, in pain from arthritic wrist, I know that feeling all too well but, not now for me :)
