Ps. and arthrytis are autoimmune deseases that have a high immune reaction against outer threats. That`s why we should be twice careful in situation of pandemia. I have both and my reaction is always with running high temperature
We all have to be very careful that’s for sure. I’ve been self isolating for two weeks. Haven’t been able to spend time with my daughter who is 6 months pregnant. Not taking any chances. Stay safe everybody
I work in food industry and we still have work but I decided to not go to work now because there's a positive one in my area. My work has a lot of interaction with people. I'm in biologics too and kinda scared.
I've been mainly isolating since I gave up work. I use wipes on the trolleys but now I send son up to shops. I don't like to be put in hospital so I'll stay home as long as needed. We have telehealth now so no need to go to Dr's for scripts if needed.
Haven't left my house almost a month. The medicine I take for psoriasis lowers my immune system. Don't feel safe especially since where I live the total keeps rising.
Im a carer so im still working through this. My anxiety goes through the roof some days worrying im going to catch it but ive got a great team to work with so it helps.
I have Ps & Pa and have 6 weekly Bio Infusions &12 weekly Steroid jabs to help me along... Both ruin my immune system... I’ve been sent the ‘Extremely Vulnerable’ you must isolate for 12 weeks letter, and I’m struggling to make a decision whether to continue having treatment and risk infection travelling in and out of Hospitals, or stay at home in Agony, got about 48hrs to decide, GP, Consultant & Specialist Nurse all say its my decision and they’ll support and help whatever decision I make.... So I too not got a clue what to do, to top the lot also have an underlying Heart problems too....
Sorry to hear about having to choose treatment or stay at home Stuey. Would you be able to take any precautions in the hospital, i.e. wear a mask, not be in a crowded room...? Is the hospital you're getting treatment in a hospital where there are many COVID-19 patients? Good luck!
I am not sure that anyone is safe but there are 2 cases in my area and they are at home. I live 7 miles from a small town and go out to get groceries once or twice a wk and that is the only traveling that I do. I may start wearing a mask when I am near people but msks are very difficult when you wear glasses. Glasses steam up when you breath. Not much else I can do to stay safe.
I'm sharing the common uncertainty about the future. Anyway, trying to do the routine, doing workouts, writing my work and thinking that we'll survive)))
I do think that I am pretty safe. As I said I am quite rural so not much contact just to the store once a week or more. On the other side of the coin I am 76 and continue taking ilumya and med controlled high bp and cholesterol. I hope that all of you stay safe and that someday soon we will start seeing our new reality whatever that may look like.
True Elizabeth, we do have a invisible enemy. scary right? All we can do is to try and keep safe. wearing masks, using hand sanitizers, try to not touch our face....do they know how difficult that is for some? but here we are, we have to adapt and who knows what other virus is waiting for us. this will just teach us to stay healthy and try take others into consideration. This is not a thing of everyone for themselves but to think of others too.

Haven't left my house in 10 days so feel pretty safe. Also no positive patients in my area. Lucky so far.

I'm in the grocery business, so we are open & being on biologics that suppress your immune system, I'm a little worried. But so far so good!

It is very scary and really tough when you have to go out for your job. Have to be very careful and hope that answers can be found soon.
