Loosing my fingernails to the big P I think.......... they are very thin within last 6 months, ridges and peeling off in layers. I’ve tried many products, temporary fix????
Should I just give in and get acrylic or gel nails???

Looking for advice for nail P and associated fungus. Recently quit biting them after 20 yrs. and carry a file to keep them neat.
Any home remedies or other recommendations for nail P?

I have psoriasis of the nails both fingers and toes and it's just getting worse. Doctors don't seem to know how to treat it. I am so embarrassed.

I wear nail polish. Constantly. Nothing seems to work where my nails are concerned so it’s base coat, two coats of colour and a top coat. Good to go!

I wanted to ask what people do with nail psoriasis. I have it on the skin, psa and nail psoriasis.
My toes hurt all the time because the nails thicken and lift. Really interested in hearing what others do to help.

This will be the first time I lose a fingernail to P. I have one index finger that is seriously bending to the left at the tip and the nail is unhinged on the right side and way underneath. Has anyone ever completely lost a nail? What happens then?

Hi from a balmy Cape Town. I need some advice. My fingernails have become soft & tear easily. My diet is well balanced with at 3 veg & a fruit daily. No bread. I've started taking folic acid, calcium & vitamin B Co. Any other suggestions?

Was just diagnosed with Psoriasis of my toe nails. Doctor said that usually this condition would be accompanied by another form of Psoriasis. The doctor suggests that I have him remove all my toe nails. Has anyone had this form of Psoriasis

Hi Linda. My nails do their own thing. I have been filing them on a weekly basis which seems to be making them stronger. I would never soak them in anything as it softens the nail. My toe nails are pretty grim so I sometimes slap a bright varnish in them so I don't have to look at them.

I have P under and around my nails,,, when I have a flare up,, my finger tips are really sore, they split and bleed.
Does anyone else get this ,,? What's the best way too treat . x

Mine were awful 3 months ago, I starter to take Vitamin D3 20,000iu. 2 tablets a day and it has cleared up my hands, nail and scalp. It took about 4 weeks to start clearing and I started taking it after a tip from at psoriasisBob on Twitter

A drop of teatree oil under each nail, once or twice a day, really helps. Although they're looking pretty good at the moment, this is not always the case. Toe nails seem to have a slight yellowish shade about them, which tempts me to paint it. However, I'm quite sure the polish won't be good for it, 'guess it needs to breathe. When toe nails become rounded, I file them down and feed them teatree :). Please oh please please please just don't step on my toes - that pain is excruciating ... I feel it in the roots of my teeth..! Same thing for the finger nails when bumped ooooouch!! Keeping them relatively short to limit those incidents.

Just spent an hour painting my finger nails. They have little growth spurts every couple of years enabling me to paint them. My toe nails are shot to pieces with psoriasis but my finger nails are just pitted. Anyone else have nail problems?

Jessica this site will give you tons of ideas. Mine is cut out all sugar. This includes refined and unrefined... Limit your fruits as they have tons of sugar. Cut out bread and pasta as they turn to sugar in the body. Sugar for us is toxic. Also google Moringa. Saved me from all my autoimmune diseases. Great stuff and natural.
